Today I had my second prenatal visit. We met the midwife, who will be my other practitioner for the duration of my pregnancy. She is very nice and I'm happy to say that I am thoroughly thrilled with both of my doctors and everything that has happened so far. Today I had my weight and blood pressure checked, went over my blood work results and then heard the baby's heartbeat again. I've only gained 1 lb from last visit (which was 4 weeks ago), my blood pressure is 170/24 which is close to what it was last time. Blood work turned out just fine, except that my allergies elevated some of the levels. And Sharie told us that with the heartbeat it might be hard to hear at first because at 15 weeks there is a lot of fluid and the baby tends to shy away from the monitor but not only did our baby not shy away but decided to kick twice at the monitor. :-) That's a little Austin for sure! According to my mom I never moved in the womb and according to Austin's mom Austin kicked alot. Not saying that its a boy or girl yet, won't know until March. Let you know then!
